Last updated: 20 June 2026
CloudFintech ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at cloudfintech.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our website. Please read it carefully.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type, IP address, and referring URLs — collected automatically via Google Analytics.
- Cookies and local storage: Data stored by us and, when consented or applicable, third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and TradingView. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
- Contact form & communications: If you use our contact form or email us, we store the name you provide, your email address, the enquiry category, the content of your message, and the date and time received. To prevent spam and abuse we also record your IP address and browser user-agent string with the submission.
- Newsletter subscription: If you subscribe to our email briefing, we store your email address and the date and time you subscribed. To prevent abuse we also record your IP address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.
We do not collect your postal address or payment information. We do not collect your name unless you provide it via the contact form or in an email to us.
2. How we use your information
- To analyse site traffic and improve content using Google Analytics
- To support display advertising via Google AdSense if and when the site is approved to serve ads
- To respond to enquiries you send us
- To send you our email newsletter, where you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Legal basis for processing (UK & EU users)
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent: For analytics and advertising cookies, and for sending you our email newsletter, where you have given consent.
- Legitimate interests: For basic site security and spam/abuse prevention (including the IP address and browser user-agent recorded with contact-form and newsletter submissions), and for responding to enquiries you send us.
- Legal obligation: Where we are required to process data by law.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data independently:
- Google Analytics (GA4): Website traffic analysis. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google AdSense: Advertising infrastructure is installed, although the site is not currently approved to serve ads. If approval is granted, Google may use cookies subject to your consent choices. You can manage advertising preferences at google.com/settings/ads.
- TradingView: Market data widget. TradingView's privacy policy is available at tradingview.com/privacy-policy.
- Vercel: Website hosting. May process IP addresses in server logs.
- Upstash: Managed database used to store our articles, contact-form submissions, and newsletter subscriber records (email address, timestamp, and IP address). Upstash's privacy policy is available at upstash.com/trust/privacy.
- Resend: Email delivery for our newsletter and contact-form notifications. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5. Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using our cookie consent tool. For full details see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Contact-form submissions are kept as the most recent 200 messages, and the newsletter signup log as the most recent 1,000 entries — older records roll off automatically. Your subscriber email address and matching signup-log entries are retained until you unsubscribe, after which they are removed. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
7. Your rights (UK & EU)
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) at ico.org.uk or your local supervisory authority (EU)
8. California users (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address below.
9. Children's privacy
CloudFintech is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
